Kyuni receives Fortebet Real Stars sports Monthly Lifetime Achievement award.

Long time serving football figure Yusuf Kyeyune Kyuni received a Lifetime Achievement award from Fortebet Real Stars sports monthly awards.

The event was held at Lazio restaurant Kololo on August 5. While receiving the award, Professor Kyuni called for support towards the awards. He said, “It is a pleasure to be here. I am delighted with this input they have brought. I urge you to support them to the full extent.”

Kyuni started playing football in the 1960s, played for Buikwe Redstar, City Cubs, Wandegeya, and Express FC before becoming an administrator, starting up teams like Nakivubo Boys, and later served at SC Villa and many other clubs.

Kyuni also boasts the reputation of having had most of the sports administrators pass under his guidance.

The event also had two winners in two active sports: Frank Kiwalabye and Ponsiano Lwakataka won in Boxing and Motor Rally, respectively.

Speaking on the awards, Real Stars Sports agency Chief Executive Officer Isaac Mukasa said, “The purpose of these awards is to create a legacy. Many former players need introductions, and it is hardly believed that they had incredible sports careers.”

The awards are continuously being organized on a monthly basis for all top-performing players in a certain month.
